The Honda Accord 5th generation was produced from 1994 to 1997. It was available as a four-door sedan and a two-door coupe. The 5th gen Accord was offered with three engine choices: a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder engine, a 2.7-liter V6, and a 2.0-liter VTEC engine that was reserved for the coupe. The 2.2-liter engine produced 130 hp and 138 lb-ft of torque, while the 2.7-liter V6 produced 170 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. The 2.0-liter VTEC engine produced 145 hp and 133 lb-ft of torque. The 5th gen Accord was also available with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The 5th generation Accord was known for its reliability, comfortable ride, and spacious interior.
